Hey Folks,
I have an HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 appliance (ArcSight) and I am unable to reset the BIOS password.
I have tried all dip switch 0ff but dip 6 on.. reboot until asked to restart as this is supposed to clear the NVRam. - Unsuccesfull. It books back and applies all the default settings but then I am prompted for the BIOS password when I try to access it.
I have also tried to remove the battery (and power supply) for a few minutes and same process.. but unsucessfull.
Any idea how I can achieve to reset the BIOS password ?
Much appreciated
Pete

Re: HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 - Unable to reset BIOS password
FYI,
I did put switch 1&5 on. When I try to access the system settings I am prompted with the following message:
Password override switch detected in the ON position. Power off the server and turn switch to OFF postion.
Therefore I am unable to access the BIOS settings.
I also see Refundant ROM detected... maybe this can help ? thanks
