HP ProLiant DL380 G7 Server erase disk
I've received a new HP ProLiant DL380 G7 Server series with 2 HDD. During installation of Linux Enterprise 5.5 from DVD, only 1 HD disk (300G) was seen.
After installation, I could only not see 1 disk from root desktop.
I removed the first disk (with Linux), and saw the 2nd disk is seen (with HP smartstart dvd and Linux Iso dvd), meaning it's not an hardaware failure.
I replugged the 2 disks, but then sytem does not boot.
Now the system boot only when the 2nd disk is removed.
What can I do?
Thanks
Regards

Re: HP ProLiant DL380 G7 Server erase disk
have you configured the disks in a RAID1 on the array controller?
Or are you running software RAID?
If you could provide some more details to what you did that would be nice. I have some trouble understanding what you have installed and what you did.
