Re: HP ProLiant DL380 Gen9 got stuck in "Early system initialization" at 30%.

@sudhirsingh

I have updated BIOS ROM already, this problem was solved. Now I lost bootable file (Fig1 ) so I cannot boot to Window. please suggest me to find a bootable file. Thank you.

As per your, already cleared nvram its lost the setting.

After update bios system automatically select secure boot.

Disable "Secure Boot" then try.

I have checked "Secure Boot" option, it's disable. I think maybe I lost my bootable file.

@kanutsanun

What was the boot mode set when server was working , BIOS/Uefi ?

Set the correct Boot mode from BIOS.

also check following:

-Set boot volume from SSA (select OS boot volume)

-Ensure that Smart Array is present in the boot controller order which has the boot volume. (Set as first device)

Hope this helps!

Re: HP ProLiant DL380 Gen9 got stuck in "Early system initialization" at 30%.

@sudhirsingh

When the server was working, boot mode was UEFI. I already set it ( Set BIOS UEFI boot mode ).  Also set boot order for smart array to first order ( Set boot bios boot order  ). For SSA, I already selected the OS boot volume ( Select boot volume  ) but I see Smart Array P44oar Warning ( P440ar Warning  ) . Maybe this is a problem which I cannot boot to the window. Thank you.

@kanutsanun

This indicates you have bad capacitor/battery as a result cache has been disabled.

Replace the Cache Battery/capacitor.

Enesure that cache is enabled for the logical drive.

@sudhirsingh

After I replace the Smart Storage Battery, the problem was solved. Now my server is working. Thank you very much.

Re: HP ProLiant DL380 Gen9 got stuck in "Early system initialization" at 30%.

I got the same problem on a BL460 Gen9, it stopped at 27% (Memory initialization - completed)

I removed all parts that are not vital, like 2nd CPU, SmartArray, Battery, etc. but that did not help.
What finally helped was to switch to backup ROM with the help of DIPswitch 1+5+6. Although it did not beep as explained in the manual, it actually swapped the ROMs and after resetting all DIPswitches, it boots again.

I will now update the ROM (also the faulty one)... hopefully that will work. ROM version before update was 2015!

I had the same issue.  Fixed by Removing RAM and Adding it back channel by channel.  (IE all the white slots first, then the black slots, then the blue slots)
