HP ProLiant ML 110 g5 with redhat el 4

on the start of instalation it will ask for a driver. I think its for the storage controller.
the thing is that i have tried all available drivers. Is there a way to fix this thing.

And I cant move on with what im doing.

Karlo - this driver is not the right one for ML110G5, it has a different chipset... It is the same for windows OS. We just need someone to update the software and driver download page with the appropriate drivers...

And about this situation - Kenneth, please call HP and open a case for the issue. Explain what you have tried and ask for drivers asap.

you're telling me there is not even SATA drivers for W2003? and G4 driver does not work?

No, the drivers for G4 don't work on the G5.
It seems that there is similar issue with DL320 g4 and G5

I have tried all the drivers thats on the support and documentation cd. i have also tried downloading on the site.

but none of it work..

and about rpm files can you execute it even if you have not installed linux.

And i have also done raid 1 on my box.
is it because of raid.

Possibly.
Temporary solution is to disable raid from bios and install the OS (it should detect the HDDs when no raid is enabled).

I'm trying to get the "powers that be" get these drivers released to the web. You might try calling support, they may have a way to get the drivers to you. The driver needed is call aarahci. The is also a new Storage Manager and hrconf utility for this controller.
