HP ProLiant ML310 G2 with more than 2 drives
I looked in the QuickSpecs of this "old machine" and found the following information:
- it´s only possible to install 4 drives without Raid (onboard SATA-controller)
- Raid1 work´s only with 2 drives
- the only solution is to use a separate SATA RAID controller
I remember to read about a bios upgrade what extends the capability up to 4 drives.
But I still don´t know if this information fits to that server-generation.
Greetings
Tom

Re: HP ProLiant ML310 G2 with more than 2 drives
Hi Tom,
I don't see any mention of that in the BIOS history file for the ML310 G2 although it may not be documented.
