HP ProLiant ML350 G4 - Fan speed is more than normal...
Hello:
Sometimes, the system fan on ML350 G4 server is activated at speed much higher than normal with high noise in the server. The only solution so far is restarting the system. This creates delays in production.
Is there a linux utility to regulate speed and fan noise, without considering the system reboot??. The server runs with openSUSE 10.3 as Operating System (Linux Kernel: 2.6.22.5-31-default x86_64).
Thanks for your solutions...

Re: HP ProLiant ML350 G4 - Fan speed is more than normal...
There are MANY threads in this forum on this issue. Check the version (DATE) of your system BIOS. An update may or may not help.
