HP ProLiant ML350p Gen8 Fan spin up & down constantly
Hi
Im going sligtly mad over these issues with HP servers fan/noise issues.
Having an issue as we all know is happening with HP servers. Fans spins up and down and is noisy as he..
I have done this a number of times on various HP servers. Issue has most likely always been iLO firmware related.
This one server. I can solve the problem by upgrading firmware on the iLO port. It helps instantly. Server spins down
and is silent as normal, or as it should be.
Problem is, when I reboot the server, the problem re-appears and server starts spinning up and down again.
Its like the iLO firmware isnt applied correctly...or the server dont keep the settings.
Solution to this is greatly appreciated?
* All indicators on server are fine. All green and no temp issues as of this point.
Thanks.
