HP ProLiant MicroServer - Buzzer

I installed an HP ProLiant MicroServer. The documentation says that the buzzer should beep if a problem occurs.
After installing RAIDXpert I made a test removing a disk in RAID0 (so, simulating a serious disk failure) and the buzzer did not sound at all.
Have I to install any additional software to make the buzzer work as expected?
How can I troubleshoot the problem?
