ya if the operating system is microsoft on my computer right click properties advanced startup and recovery choose setting and next tab system startup choose edit and the end of line type /pae and save and exit.
system must restsrt and when the boot os 8 gig detect yuor system.

1.what is your module of ram ? for ex: 2gb 4gb
2.is compatible old ram and new ram
3.you should check in bios and in os and say to me is equal
4.what is configuration of your ram?
