HP Proliant 350 G5 linux
I am trying to install on HP proliant server Centos 6.7 version.
But have problem because centos doesn't recognise hard disks.
So I downloaded smart start CD, where it was described for Centos too.
But when I started that CD I only get options installing for Windows, from 2003 to 2008.
What I am doing wrong to no to get Centos options?

Re: HP Proliant 350 G5 linux
Hi,
ProLiant ML350 G5 does not support CentOS 6. It supports CentOS 5.
As I know, HP SmartStart CD does not support CentOS.
You may check the Downloads here.
Thank You!
I am a HP employee

Re: HP Proliant 350 G5 linux
Smart Start never really had an option to install Linux. Basically Smart Start would configure the hardware, but the OS installation was a manual process.
Have you created a RAID array on the controller? 6.7 sitll contains the cciss driver required for the Smart Array controller, but the OS will not see any drives until you create an array and a logical drive

Re: HP Proliant 350 G5 linux
that already exist because there is already installed centos 4.
but installation CD of centos 5 or centos 6 doesn't see any disk or array.
