Re: HP Proliant BL Rack Upgrade Error

I seem to remember having the same problem, when blade enclosure + 1u power had mismatched firmware version. After rebooting the blade, from which I was launching the utility, I was able to reflash the devices.

Re: HP Proliant BL Rack Upgrade Error

I'm a bit afraid to admit but the problem was... how would I put it... earlier. We didn't have any cable connected from the 'Power Enclosure' to the 'Server Blade Enclosure'.

We had the Blade installed last autumn and it was made by HP mechanician. I assumed that the system is OK. Should not take anything for granted =/

After connecting the cable I had to restart the 'HP ProLiant Rack Infrastructure Interface Service'.

Thank you for your replies, you were very helpful. Case closed.

Re: HP Proliant BL Rack Upgrade Error

I upgraded the software for all Blade servers before I found the real problem. Probably would not have worked before the software upgrade.

I wrote a comment about the solution earlier.
