HP Proliant DL 360p4

I have a new server and when I booted it on to prepare for my OS installation, both LED lights are amber. I went into the Array configuration, which stated that no physical drives are available. I took the new drives out and put them back in and it still does not light up green. What do I need to do to get these drives online??

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Hi JG4

Reseat the SCSI backplane and reconnect all its cables again.

For Assistance reseating the SCSI backplane use:

Agree with the above reply..

1- Uncover server.
2- Remove fan assembly (3 fans)
3- Remove media cable (CD-ROM)
4- Remove HDDs
5- Push down the SCSI backplane (a small green card that looks like a green rule). It is placed vertically straight to the system board.

Push it down from bot borders or sides until you hear or feel a little noise.

You may have to repeat it until it is well seated.

Regards.
