HP Proliant DL320s G1 USB device not recognized

Hi all have a DL320s G1 running Windows Server 2003 X64 R2,
Have an issue where we are getting constant messages on the task bar about USB device not recognized, the issue is we don't have any usb devices plugged into the unit!, its running the latest firmware,
Its got a SCSI III attached MSL4048 G3 tape library, and only seems to happen when our backup is running using CA ArcServe 12.5
any ideas? i'm stumped

hi,

are you using any USB device connected to the server ??? ( mouse/keyboard ), if not disable completely the USB interfaces.

No, as i said before there are no USB devices plugged into that server. is it possible the optical drive on the unit runs off a USB host controller?

hi,

i think not, in the new servers the CD/DVD drives are connected via SATA interface.
