HP Proliant DL360e Gen8 System Board

Hello!

I have a Proliant DL360e Gen8 which has recently suffered some unfortunate failures and requires a replacement system board. I've managed to locate one, but with some compatibility worries. The p/n on the existing board is 647400-002 and the replacement I've found is 684956-001. The best info I've been able to find indicates that the 684956-001 board only supports E5-2400 series processors and my server does have an E5-2400, but a v2 processor. Sandy vs. Ivy Bridge. Is there anyone who might be able to let me know if swapping these boards would work?

Here ist List with the spare partys of the DL380e Gen8 Server (official HPE Webside):

If you are using v2 Processors, the SB you have will not be able to boot up. You need this one:

System board assembly - for Intel Xeon E5-2400 and E5-2400 v2 processors, Ivy Bridge
732151-001

Thank you
