HP Proliant DL380 G3 Hangs during Restart

Hi all,

I have a Windows 2000 server on and HP Proliant DL380 G3 server with Smart Array 5i. This server has SP4 and Rollup Package installed.

All ROM and array controllers are updated. The problem is, everytime i restart the server it displays a black screen after closing windows and doesn't boot. I have to switch the power off and power it on to start the server. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Would it stay black and blinking cursor ? Which is in the most time with problem like that see previous threads results and advises
