HP Proliant DL380 G3 reboots daily

We have an HP Proliant DL380 G3 which reboots daily. Server logs indicate a Blue Screen Trap(BugCheck, STOP: 0x0000008e 0xc0000005 0xf6891b66 oxf5d7fa24 0x00000000)
Event Viewer becomes full of Event ID 2012 PerfOS messages prior to reboot. Unable to get system process information: with a DWORD of 0000: c000009a.

Running windows 2003 server.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Pedro,

From what I can find on your bugcheck so far I have found several leads, but nothing definitive. First of all, I found that the bugcheck you have been receiving has been found to have been caused by spyware, so check to see if you have any applications running that shouldn't be. Next, I don't know if 2003 and XP home and professional are built on the same kernel or not, but there is a known issue and hot fix for the bugcheck you are getting, so you need to check with MS.

Finally, others have resolved the issue with replacing the power supply, so try to add another power supply if you are not running redundant power supplies. Is your server fully loaded with only minimum power supplies installe?
