Re: HP Proliant DL380 G5 POST Error:
Well
Those are several messages.... new and old messages
First let me ask you you├в re Server is working fine? Is it rebooting? Has someone check is there is amber or red light in HDDs?
Have you replaced a HDD lately?
Do you have the latest firmware for you controller and HDDs?
check the attached file and also check this link for more information about the errors:
http://bizsupport.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00300504/c00300504.pdf
use the number for example 1786 and look for it in the document (PDF)
regards

Re: HP Proliant DL380 G5 POST Error:
Drive Array Recovery Needed - This indicates that a disk of the array has failed.
Drive Array Resuming Automatic Data Recovery Process - This is the controller starting to rebuild the array
Drive Array Reports Valid Data Found in Array Accelerator - this usually appears after an unexpected shutdown, has the server rebooted on those dates?
Drive Array - Array Accelerator Battery Charge Low - this appears at the beginning of the log, the server was new and battery was not charged yet.
Booting with Smartstart CD and running an ADU would help to see if there's a disk failing intermitently.

Re: HP Proliant DL380 G5 POST Error:
but..
when you get this from hpacucli ...
Status: Ready for Rebuild
how do u initiate a rebuild ?
only way I have seen is F1 during the boot up process but there seems to be no way to see progress or if it finished.
