HP Proliant DL380 G6 CPU upgrade to Intel Xeon Processor X5670
I am trying to install a Intel Xeon Processor X5670 (2.93 GHz, 12MB L3 Cache, 95 W, DDR3-1333, HT, Turbo 2/2/3/3) Processor replacing a X5550 2.66GHz processor but the server doesn't turn on. the fans keep on raving up and down but there is no display. If i use the X5550 it boots up as normal. This link shows that it will take this processor.
What am I doing wrong? Any assistance will be highly appreciated.
Thank you.

Re: HP Proliant DL380 G6 CPU upgrade to Intel Xeon Processor X5670
You may need a newer system ROM that supports this model CPU. It looks like Version:2010.03.30 (A) (14 Apr 2010) was the first version that supported 5600 series processors
