HP Proliant DL380 G6 Changes in BIOS
I would like to edit the settings in the BIOS from a desktop software utility. I often need to access the BIOS remotely. At present I need to change the setting to Power On the server after a lengthy power outage. I am 8000 miles away from the server for a F2/F10 entry.

The server has iLO for remote management. The remote console can be used for pre OS activities like you've mentioned and with an advanced license you can access the console of the host OS

What do I do without an advanced license and still many miles away? I do have remote access to the server.

Re: HP Proliant DL380 G6 Changes in BIOS
Without the advanced license you can still access the POST screens and change BIOS settings, you just can't access the OS console when the OS boots
