HP Proliant DL380 G6 - Need HP Agentless Management type app for local system hardware monitoring

Hello,

I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 and would like to know how I could add any proprietary applications that would work locally on the server I could use to check stuff like the HP Agentless Management app.

Can someone please give me more information on how to obtain such for my Proliant G6?

Thanks!!

Kent C.

Update:

I noticed the following : http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00293061.pdf

This HP Insight Diagnostics Software is what I'm looking for it would seem. Anyone have any good info on this software for Ubuntu 10.10?

Thanks,

Kent C.

Ubuntu is not supported on HP servers as far as I know, so there won't be an official supported software.
However I don't know if someone has anything unsupported that works. ;)
Did my post help? Thank me with kudo's! :)

Chkeck the HP SDR (Software Delivery Repository) for Linux at http://downloads.linux.hp.com/SDR/

Look under the MCP section for supported health agents for Ubuntu

Hello HP Forum Help,

I've located the following Youtube video explaining exactly what I need in detail:

Demo from HP SDR Software Engineer Craig Lamparter

Thank you again. Trying to figure this out like most IT tasks is no easy feat but this I think is what I'm truly looking for.
