HP Proliant DL380 Gen 4 Smart Array 6i driver

Hi All,

This is my first post here so sorry if I have placed this in the wrong place.

I have got my hands on a HP Proliant DL380 G4 server and I am trying to build it with Windows Server 2008. I have an image and everything is fine until I get to the install wizard. It says that I need a driver for the hard drives. HP Smart Array 6i is enabled so does that mean I have to download a driver from somewhere and put it onto a pen drive?

All help is appreciated,

Alfie

Hi,

Hope you are using HP SmartStart CD to install the OS.

If Not then you need to use a HP SmartStart CD to initially boot the server, create RAID and install OS.

DL380 G4 drivers page:

http://h20565.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=426678&lang=en&cc=us

Choose the OS then choose Software - CD-ROM > HP SmartStart CD.

Download the file and burn it onto a CD and use it to configure server.
