Hello,
I have one HP Proliant DL380G5 and i want to know what is the maximum ram capability?
I know i have only 8 slots in the motherboard, but i dont' know for sure, if the max capability is 64GB or 32GB?

But for example, i can use only one processor and have 64gb of ram or use 8gb ram modules in each slot?

So, with only one processor i can use 4 modules of 8gb ram???
(That makes 32GB in total)

Beginning with G6 of this server the memory is "per processor", but until G5 it is "per system".
This server still has a memory controller between the dimms and the processors. In newer systems this controller is part of the cpu, hence you have memory "per processor".
