HP Proliant DL380G6 will not boot from CD
HP Proliant DL380G6 will not boot from CD with bootable smart start to create RAID10.
I go to F11 press 1 to boot from CD and bootable device is not available etc.
I went to F9 and comfirmed CD boot is available.
Changed boot order
HP Smart Array Controller is available
please provide any suggestions?
silly questions but is the smartstart CD the only way to setup RAID10.
I will be installing ESXi5.5 on the server...

Re: HP Proliant DL380G6 will not boot from CD
I think the F8 (ORCA) option will allow you to create a RAID 1+0 configuration
As for your CD not booting, have you tried booting the CD in something else to make sure the CD will boot?

Re: HP Proliant DL380G6 will not boot from CD
Yeah, the CD boots fine on my laptop and is the same CD I used to setup RAID 10 on my other server.
I also created a new bootable CD.
