HP Proliant Firmware Maint. CD and ML370 G1
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/24777.html
says that version 7.50 of the Proliant Firmware Maintenance CD supports the ML370 G1.
But when I boot the CD on my ML370, I get a text-mode error message that essentially says the CD doesn't support my machine.
I want to get all my firmware up-to-date without all the floppy shuffling. Is there a way to get the FW Maint. CD to work? I'd quote the exact error message, but the system is in the middle of a build right now, and I'd rather not interrupt it. Can follow-up with exact text, but the gist of it was that the CD does not support deploying on this server model.
Thank you!

Re: HP Proliant Firmware Maint. CD and ML370 G1
Any FW Maint CD Version earlier than 7.60 should do fine - support for ML370G1 and G2 has been removed with version 7.60 of the FW maint CD. (revision history of the maint CD => http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/revision/9014.html check 7.60/hardware support)
btw the version 7.50 you mention in your post boots OK on our ML370s, but maybe european models somehow differ from the US models :-/
cheers

Re: HP Proliant Firmware Maint. CD and ML370 G1
For completeness, the 7.50 CD gives me the following error message, shortly upon booting from the CD, with the display still in text mode:
"The Firmware CD does not support deployment for this server. Consult the support matrix on the HP website at www.hp.com for a complete list of supported servers."
Thanks,
Jim
