Re: HP Proliant G3 ML330 Installing New SCSI Hard Disk
basically you take one 40 GB out insert the 160 GB HDD wait for rebuild process, after completed go for the second HDD do same procedure when both HDDS have been replaced and rebuild s done go to ACU and extend the new space more information here

Re: HP Proliant G3 ML330 Installing New SCSI Hard Disk
Please forgive my inexperience but if you have the time, can you explain what is "ACU" and how to extend the storage space?
Regard.

Re: HP Proliant G3 ML330 Installing New SCSI Hard Disk
the tool you must use since after you replace both HDDs you have to open that and select the RAID and right hand will show you the option to extend the RAID to a new size
check this manual

Re: HP Proliant G3 ML330 Installing New SCSI Hard Disk
thanks for your reply.
i have read the manual, and i try to take out a 40gb scsi drive and replace a new 160gb scsi drive for recover. after that i change 2nd 160gb scsi drive but it show me dont have any drive connected, after i checked , there hav 2 id which is 0 and 2 , whatever i change the scsi drive , its go to id 0 and id 2 hard drive will make recover to id 0. it is the jumper setting or else?
