Thanks

Re: HP Proliant ML 110G5 compatible memory
Thanks for your quick reply. I bought this memory but it doesn't work! Now I don't what is wrong, memory are broken or are not compatible with my server. At HP website is written 499276-061 is specifically for a DL385 G5p. What do you think about it, possible that the CAS latency is not suitable for ML110 G5?

Re: HP Proliant ML 110G5 compatible memory
The quickspec link posted above indicated unbuffered (unregistered) memory.
This link too lists unbuffered memory:
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12911_div/12911_div.HTML#Memory
2048 MB Unbuffered ECC PC2-6400 DDR2 (1x2048 MB) 450260-B21
1024 MB Unbuffered ECC PC2-6400 DDR2 (1x1024 MB) 450259-B21
512 MB Unbuffered ECC PC2-6400 DDR2 (1x512 MB) 450259-B21
You can't mix RDIMM and UDIMM types on this system:
http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01702744/c01702744.pdf
The Service Guide lists 460424-001 for 2gb unbuffered dimms:
http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01187581/c01187581.pdf
So I think you got some bad advice...
