HP Proliant ML 310 G4 - Safe to work tilted?

Hi,

Is it safe to operate said machine tilted? We want to lay the server in our rack. It doesn't fit upright standing so we want to lay it on the side. Is it safe to operate this machine this way? Is there an official statement of HP?

Hi,

well for most proliant servers there is tower to rack converstion kit, which is the same - you leave the server "laying". So ther should be no problem
