Re: HP Proliant ML110 SATA Raid problem
1. Do You Use real FDD2USB drive or only emulation on disk on key?
2. On BIOS - how You configured using USB?
Regards
Denis

Re: HP Proliant ML110 SATA Raid problem
I read the instructions from Studio54, but my BIOS doesn't have options for "set the USB key as Forced Floppy and set the USB Floppy Drive as Floppy." At least not that I can find. I am running a brand new DL320 G4.
Any ideas?

Re: HP Proliant ML110 SATA Raid problem
The easiest way to install windows 2003 or windows xp on ML110 is by integrating driver in windows instalation disk. You can use third-party program like nlite or you can integrate it manualy(more difficult).
Have a nice day,
Rados

Re: HP Proliant ML110 SATA Raid problem
- NO DOWNLOAD
- NO EXTERNAL USB DEVICE
You can fix your problem with a simple internal floppy IDE device.
Join it to the motherboard.
Turn on your beautiful HP Proliant ML110 Generation 2 Server.
You only have to set three options in BIOS:
1 Main: Legacy Diskette A: 1.44/1.25 MB 3%"
2 Boot Features -> Floppy check: Enabled
3 Advanced: I/O Device Configuration -> Integrated Diskette Controller: Enabled
DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY!!!!!!!

Re: HP Proliant ML110 SATA Raid problem
I think everyone here is talking about a G3 ML110. The servers that are having these problems do not have internal IDE channels. just USB and SATA.

Re: HP Proliant ML110 SATA Raid problem
I tried your solution of USB and FLoppy in tandem and it worked.
If it didn't, I would have slipstreamed the Install disc next.

Re: HP Proliant ML110 SATA Raid problem
other way is to use a supported HP USB Device
see the following link
