HP Proliant ML150 G2

Hi,

I have a HP Proliant ML150 G2 Server. It has 6 SATA bays. I want to use them as 6 individual drives. I DON'T want to use RAID. But I am not able to use the 5th and 6th bay as standalone HDD.

How do I enable all 6 HDD bays to use as individual hard drives without enabling RAID?

Re: HP Proliant ML150 G2

hmm Ramesh look here what controller do you have as some only support 4 disks and some six disks

look under storage section in this link,

you may need to choose a controller that supports six disks if thats what you want

Enjoy:)

ps disabling raid in bios ensures disks are seen as single disks..
