HP Proliant ML150 G5 SBS 2008 ICH5R raid setup problem

We are trying to install SBS2008 std on a proliant ML150 quad core, 1 processor, 8 G RAM, 250G Raid 1.

We have got the adaptec ICH5R raid controller drivers from the supplied CD ( and unplugged memory stick) and started the install process.

It install got to the point where it first needs reboots and now will not boot into Windows even in safe mode, it just blue screens and reboots.

We have determined the problem is the raid controller as installing on a single disk works ok

Is there an updated driver for the adaptec ICHR raid controller?

Does this raid controller work?

If we upgrade to the HP Smart Array E200/128 BBWC Controller - storage controller (RAID) - SATA- - 411508-B21

Will we get a working system?
