HP Proliant ML310e G8
Hi Friends,
I have a plan to build a server for a small business - 25 users so I decided to buy HP Proliant ML310e G8 server.
My question, I need only 1 TB disk space so which will give better read and writer performance ?
2 x 1TB in RAID-1 or 4 x 500GB in RAID-10

If they are the same speed, more spindles will be better.
Of course there may be other cost, power and space issues.

Assume in this case both hard disk drives are spinning in 7200rpm, so,
RAID 1+0 with 4 x 500 GB ...?
or
RAID 1 with 2 x 1 TB ...?
better performance

4 > 2, so 4 is better for speed.
