HP Proliant ML350 G5 BIOS
Hello,
I need to update BIOS on an old ML350 G5 which is not in production and usupported.
https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX-b80e134db9c14414b49e2e03de#tab-history
As HPE does not provide updates for their servers without payment is someone know which contract is required (if still available for an old server) to be allowed to download and update the BIOS ?
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards

Re: HP Proliant ML350 G5 BIOS
HI Moocan,
You need to need have valid Support entitlement on your server for you to download the BIOS file. Once the Support contract is purchased , it will need to be linked with your HPE passport account. Once that is done you will be able to download the BIOS file
To check what kind of support contract is available for your server, Please contact your reseller or HPE sales team

Re: HP Proliant ML350 G5 BIOS
If you can install a Windows OS on the server then use the following link for the online BIOS update.
https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX-9d16a482785e4865acf6116e6b
cp028207.exe is the file you seek and should be shown in the link provided.
Best of luck.
