hello,
I have a problem about HP Proliant ML350 G5. If you help me, so I am pleased.
There are 5 number SAS 2,5" (SFF) 300 GB internal discs and I want to increase this system's capacity. But availeble system's capacity as internal is maximum so I decided to add 3 number NTFS external discs that can connect with USB. But I am not sure that How much can I increase capacity as external disc? or How many external disc I can add to system? so I need your help about this issue.
NOTE:Our availeble system does not support USB3.0 but it is not important. Maximum capacity is more important than it.
Thanks in advanced.

SolutionUSB disks are IMHO a bad choice to extend the servers capacity.
Have a look at something better:

Re: HP Proliant ML350 G5 Server adding external disc
Their is no limitation, , however it is really not a good way to extend the server capacity
