HP Proliant ML350 G5 disk SATA replacement
Hi, all
I am a novice with these systems.
Today I've received signal failure of a disk SATA 3.5" 500GB (PN 395501-002), that worked in RAID 1 with a second disk with same PN.
Now, I believe this PN is no more available!
My question are:
1) May I use a disk a disk SATA 3.5" 500GB with PN 458928-B21 (in RAID1 with disk PN 395501-002)?
2) There are suggested HP diagnostic software to verify the damaged disk?
Thank you all, for your help.
Regards.

Re: HP Proliant ML350 G5 disk SATA replacement
hi,
It should be not a problem to use the disk with the other P/N. You can use HP Array Configuration Utility to monitor and diagnostic the drives/controller.
Thanks
