HP Proliant ML350 G6 RAM connfiguration
HI there, I have a HP Proliant ML350 generation 6. A while ago it refused to boot, so I took out the RAM.
1. I got it working again by inserting 2 x 512 RAM sticks (See photo).
2. The remaining RAM I cannot get the machine to accept.
3. Does anyone know which slots the RAM should go in, as the guidance is vague?
Thanks in advance.

Re: HP Proliant ML350 G6 RAM connfiguration
Greetings!
As per the pictures, I understand that the DIMMs are registered DIMM modules.
4X 1GB dual Rank
2X 512MB Single Rank
Please follow memory population guidelines on page# 30 and 31 on web-link below
https://h20195.www2.hpe.com/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c04200238.pdf
If the issue persists, they you will need to isolate if any of the DIMM module is causing this issue. You can add one DIMM to narrow down further.
Also please check for any DIMM errors that you may come across on the POST screen.

Re: HP Proliant ML350 G6 RAM connfiguration
May I know if you tried adding one DIMM at a time to narrow down the issue?
Are these DIMMs already installed in the server when you first encountered the no boot issue?
Any memory issue that you may have noticed on the POST or IML (if iLO is configured)?
