HP Proliant ML350 with 2 processors

I have a machine with 2 processor but show me only one. I have win2000 server with sp4.
What can i do to the other processor works?

Hi,

Did you install the OS with one processor or two? If you added the second processor after the OS install you need to upgrade your HAL.

I install the os with 2 processor.

During post do you see both processors initializing?
In device managed under computer what kind of HAL is installed â uniprocessor or multiprocesso

I don´t know because i work in this company a few days and i can not make reboot this machine right now to see the startup informatio

If the two processors are seen on post, then at the hardware level the server is detecting the processors and you need to focus your attention on the OS especially the HAL

Also, don't forget to update the system firmware via ROMPaq download http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/revision/2022.html

It looks like there were issues with 2 CPUs in the past with ML350.
