HP Proliant ML350e Gen8 memory compatibility
Just received an offer from a local provider for this kingston memory
Can't figure out if would be compatible with the Proliant ML350e Gen8.
Any hint will be much appreciated.

Re: HP Proliant ML350e Gen8 memory compatibility
Hi,
Gen8 servers use HP SmartMemory, older generation server memory may not work as expected. Third party memory may work but not tested.
Refer to Memory Architecture for Intel Xeon E5-2400 Series Processors.
Refer to HP SmartMemory - FAQ.
Thank You!

Re: HP Proliant ML350e Gen8 memory compatibility
Hello.
Yes, the memory meets the required specification so it should work.
Your server supports both Unbuffered ECC (UDIMM) and Registered ECC (RDIMM). Do not mix UDIMM and RDIMM memory.
You can refer Crucial, memorystock.com, kingston sites for compatible memory upgrade.
Good luck with the upgrade! Post your results here!
