HP Proliant ML350p Gen8 Turns itself off after power-on (rack server)
From what i can make out the ambient temperature sensor (has / is failed) and it's reporting 55c so the server is shutting down, but the room is only 18c
Can I get a replacement or is this part of the system board.
All my internet searches have come up blank so far.
Any help would be much appreciated

Re: HP Proliant ML350p Gen8 Turns itself off after power-on (rack server)
Found part of the answer to my own question.
The sensor is not part of the system board and is part of the led panel at the front (where the leds and power button is)
the plug for the sensor is mid-way across the fount of the system board by the sata connection, red and black wires.
Unplugged this and the system now boots with the temperature being reported as -1c. so at least its back up and running while I find the part number and wait for the new part.
