HP Proliant ML370 G3 NMI ERROR

server having problem after blackout this weekend..after i start
the ups and server, it seem ok, but after check again 20 minutes later the error
display in blue screen
" HARDWARE MALFUNCION.
NMI : PARITY CHECK/MEMORY PARITY ERROR.
THE SYSTEM HAS HALTED.
PLS REFER YOUR HARDWARE VENDOR FOR SUPPORT."


RAM cleaned but problem still occur.

Any suggestion??

hi


how many memory modules do you have?
- try reseating memory modules.
- if the issue continues swap the memory modules
- if you have more that 2 memory modules try 2 at a time

this usually is a faulty memory module but the idea also is playing around with the memory modules to determine if the module is bad or the slot in the System board because sometimes can be a bad lot so bad system board.

Hello Liu,

Try re seating the DIMMs & clearing the CMOS/NVRAM;

Use the System maintenance swith S6;
Refer

to locate the switch on system board;
