HP Proliant ML370 G3 - Smart Array 6400 Firmware
Today I flashed our Smart Array 6400 controller with the latest firmware. It's an Online ROM update and while it was flashing, the program gave an error. After that Windows 2000 server crashed!! Now I can boot Win2k server...but it appears with a blue screen 0x0000007b INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE...blah blah..please run chkdsk /f.
Also, when I check with Acronis Partition Expert, the partitions are still in tact. When I boot, the Smart Array Controller shows that it is supplied with the latest firmware but it is complaining about low battery problems.

Re: HP Proliant ML370 G3 - Smart Array 6400 Firmware
Owkee, I did the following. Restored the OS partition from last night, rebooted and installed the latest Smart Array 6400 driver. The server runs fine again!
