HP Proliant won't boot from cd rom

Hello everyone,

I downloaded VMware ESXi 4.1 into my CD Rom. I am trying to boot my HP Proliant DL 380 G4 from the CD. The server goes through the boot process but it won't boot from the CD. it keeps saying attempting to boot from CD rom over and over. I am stuck don't know what to do. Any help ?

A few things to try

 

1) Are you sure the image you downloaded is a good image?

 

2) Did yoou "burn" the .iso image to the CD, or did you copy the .iso image to the CD

 

3) Will it boot in another system?

 

4) reset RBSU to factory defaults
