HP Proliant320 G3 hasten systems hours

What is the reason? What should be done to solve the problem?

Considered server belongs to the local network, which has no internet connection.
I must say, that it is impossible to make an internet connection to that network.

also you can try this:

Clear NVRAM

You need to look for the System Maintenance Switch(called Clean NVRAM) in your server.
check this link to see System Maintenance Switch location, page 57

- Power off server, unppluged the power cable.
- Open the server.
- Look for System Maintenance Switch
- Switch number 6, put it ON
- Power on the server.
- Leave it ON for 2 minutes
- Power off the server and plugged the power cable
- Power on the server again.

if the issue continues after my steps I think you can try replacing the battery

Just make sure the latest BIOS revision is installed in the server. If not you can download it from here:

what is your OS? windows --- linux?
what is your proliant support installed? 7.9, 7.8?

- OS installed: Win2K sp4

- No information about Proliant support
