HP ROK 2012 R2 and .NET 3.5
Hi,
After hours of tries, we failed to install .net 3.5 on a server running Windows 2012 R2 Std Ed from the ROK DVD media.
As workaround, we finally installed Windows 2012 R2 from a "normal" media (Microsoft select ?), enabled .net 3.5 feature and activated the OEM license in two steps.
1) Register the oem licence via : slmrg.vbs /ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx....
2) Activate licence from the control panel (system)

Re: HP ROK 2012 R2 and .NET 3.5
Unfotunately that doesn't help at all. We have a Microserver Gen8 with ROK 2012 R2 Std and are having exactly the same issue. There is plenty of information on the web regarding this issue, but NONE of the published solutions appear to work when the ROK is used - and suggestion to connect to the internet and download is utterly useless - of course this is the first thing we tried.

Sadly again there's nothing new in that thread that hasn't been tried.
