Re: HP SATA RAID Controller Manager for Windows 2000/Windows Server 2003
Couple of questions here:
Are we installing the HP Storage Manager through a remote location?
If so, are we using any deployment utility like RDP and Sidgen?
Regards,
rmn

Re: HP SATA RAID Controller Manager for Windows 2000/Windows Server 2003
If all network ports are not attached to an active link or contain a port terminator,
the mapping service fails to start on boot. In conjunction with this failure, an error
event ID 7034 is logged in the system log.
The mapping service can be restarted after all network ports become active
through a link or port terminator.
Hope this answers!!!!
Regards,
rmn.

Re: HP SATA RAID Controller Manager for Windows 2000/Windows Server 2003
If i run DCDIAG after the server is restarted i get a error when systemlog is tested, which refer to a Event 7034.
But if i run DCDIAG a next day, the error when systemlog is tested don`t appear. The error from DCDIAG not appear if i clean the System event.
