HP SATA RAID Controller Manager for Windows 2000/Windows Server 2003

I have a HP Proliant ML110 G3 with DC Windows 2003 server.
I installed HP Storage Manager on this server.
The problem is :
when i restart the server i get in Event Viewer a error from Service Control Manager with Event ID:7034
Description:
"The HP Storage Manager Agent service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time"

I recive this error only in Domain Controler with windows 2003 server.
I reinstalled the HP Storage Manager, but the error continue.

Re: HP SATA RAID Controller Manager for Windows 2000/Windows Server 2003

Hi Titi,

Couple of questions here:

Are we installing the HP Storage Manager through a remote location?

If so, are we using any deployment utility like RDP and Sidgen?

Re: HP SATA RAID Controller Manager for Windows 2000/Windows Server 2003

Hi Titi,

If all network ports are not attached to an active link or contain a port terminator,
the mapping service fails to start on boot. In conjunction with this failure, an error
event ID 7034 is logged in the system log.

The mapping service can be restarted after all network ports become active
through a link or port terminator.

Hope this answers!!!!

Regards,
rmn.

This error is logged when server is stoped not when is started.

Re: HP SATA RAID Controller Manager for Windows 2000/Windows Server 2003

Other explanation:

If i run DCDIAG after the server is restarted i get a error when systemlog is tested, which refer to a Event 7034.

But if i run DCDIAG a next day, the error when systemlog is tested don`t appear. The error from DCDIAG not appear if i clean the System event.
