HP Server Dl120 G6
Hi
Please let me know can i use both sata and sas hardrive like 1st bay sata and 2nd bay sas in the server.
Because by mistake we purchased SAS HDD now the hdd is not been detecting
error message 3046: Failed:Drive 1 Array 255 at Port Box 1 Bay 2

Depending on what controller is in the system both SATA and SAS are supported. You cannot however mix SATA and SAS in the same array which apears what your attempting to do. 'B' series controllers support SATA only, 'P' series controllers support both SATA and SAS
