HP SmartArray p812 problem
Hello, we have such problem with our SmartArray p812 controller:
We have server running Cetos 5.5 with Postgres database running on raid10 disk (disk consists of 6 SAS HP drives), using iostat we have statistcs such as
cciss/c0d3 0.60 95.00 336.00 47.00 5449.60 1420.80 17.94 26.88 80.20 2.61 100.02
As you see we have 100% utilisation level.. And about 96 + 336 = 432 IOPS. But as we have calculated or IOPS rate must be somwhere ~170*6(disks) =~1000 IOPS. Why is utilisation so high? What we could do in order to lower utilisation and our servers load average?
