Hi People,
I'd like to know if there is any HP Software driver and software update application which basically scan the server for the existing HP software ( Proliant and SMH) and then update it directly from the internet ?
P.S. This thread has been moevd from General to ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL). - Hp Forum Moderator

SolutionHP SUM would check which components can be updated, but AFAIK it only uses packages that are inside the PSP.

Re: HP Software update application for HP DL servers
Download HP SUM here:
http://h17007.www1.hp.com/us/en/enterprise/servers/products/service_pack/hpsum/index.aspx
That will download an iso file. Mount the iso file in your OS. Once mounted run HP SUM. Create a baseline. You will have options to either point it at a PSP (Proliant Service Pack) to create a baseline -OR- download baseline files directly from hp.com
