HP StorageWorks Fibre Channel Array Notification Driver

We installed this on two servers that are currently running an SMI-S provider for the cluster MSA1000 unit. What is the purpose of this driver? It does not appear to give any more information. Should we install it or not?

I'm looking for the purpose of the Fibre Channel Array Notification Driver.

We don't see any use for this...can someone tell me if it is worth deploying?

"

Note ...provides event notification...
