HP System Management Homepage Update Fails
On several of these updates, when the update completes the service fails to start. The event log gives event 7000, but no evidence of a problem other than failing. I've tried restarts, uninstalls, reinstalls, different revs...Installs of the 2.1 revs work just fine, but 3. revs break the service. Help?

Re: HP System Management Homepage Update Fails
To fix this issue try:
Install again following this order:
1. First WBEM, download the one that you need depending on you OS x32 or x64 bit:
http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/wbem/providerdownloads.html
2. Second Install the Insight Management Agents:
x32 OS Version:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=1121516&prodNameId=3288134&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-8397b5874c7446b48713bae697
x64 OS Version:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=1121516&prodNameId=3288134&swEnvOID=1113&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-9601b1a114fe4d95a037b1469c
3- Then install the SMH again and everything should work with no problems:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=1121516&prodNameId=3288134&swEnvOID=1113&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-3d8198a5599d4af9afebaf475d
